Banning Four Loko is Horse Shit

Its a sad day to be an American my friends. In the 'Land of The Free' and 'The Home of The Brave'...............a mutha fucka cant legally purchase and enjoy a frosty Four Loko in a number of states after this weekend. What kind of shit is this? I feel that this is a blatant violation of my civil liberties as a citizen of this country.

Civil liberties are rights and freedoms that provide an individual specific rights such as the right to life, freedom from torture, freedom from slavery and forced labour, the right to liberty and security, right to a fair trial, the right to privacy, freedom of conscience, freedom of expression, freedom of assembly and association, and the right to marry and have a family. I would think that somewhere in that definition, I should be able to spend my hard earned $3 on a 24oz alcoholic beverage.

I'm not going to stand up on a soap box and scream to the heavens that Four Loko isn't dangerous, because it is, but if you think about it, so is crossing the street, taking a shower and doing house hold chores (if done in a stupid manner). In this thing that we are all apart of called Life, there IS a thing called common sense that we humans are given the ability to freely use when coming to judgment that will lead to our own actions. Common sense would tell one that drinking a bunch of Four Loko isn't a bright idea.

So....enough people have a bunch of un bright ideas, and now a specific type of alcohol is to blame??? That's complete dog shit. When are we going to take responsibility for what we do? Who's going to stand up and say 'Yeah man, me going to ER last night to get my stomach pumped was my fault. I thought by drinking anywhere between 3 and 5 Lokos, I would look cool and potentially be able to have sex with a girl'.

I may be my parents child, but I'm 27 years old, drinking alcohol is a benefit that everyone over the age of 21 can enjoy, so yes, protect 'children' but grown adults shouldn't be subject to this bullshit ban.

He said this while standing with the grandmother of a 18-year-old Long Island girl who died after drinking Four Loko (after consuming a diet pill), the Democratic senator said federal and state regulators have already wasted too much time studying the issue and must move to ban sales of the beverages. Any youth loosing their life is an unfortunate situation but is Four Loko to blame, or a lack of common sense? Last time I checked, Four Loko wasn't on the list of leading causes of death Chuck.

Shit, not only is Loko not up there, neither is any type of alcohol, nor is cirrhosis which is the result of pro longed drinking (chronic liver disease). Now if you want to split hairs, you can try and place drinking too much Loko in one or more of these categories but that would be asinine. What I do see on that list are things that in actuality are the result of things we could some what control.

Heart disease, #1 on the list. But we can go get a sandwich where the 'bread' is 2 fried chicken breasts and in between that is all kinds of cheese, sauce and bacon.

Cancer, #2 on the list. There are all kinds of cancer, but as far as lung cancer, we can go get a pack of smokes that clearly says on the packaging that the Surgeon General warns that you probablyshouldn't smoke them shits.

How contradictory are we as a people to promote/ advertise / glorify/ associate with fun; things that have been proven to kill people in this country, and then on those same air waves/ print/ tv programs; use that same type of marketing to bash Four Loko? I guess those things that can potentially kill us, are cool to consume as long as we do it responsibly, in moderation, and use common sense.

Currently, I'm emotionally running through a gauntlet of feelings, but the one feeling that overrides my anger is just sheer confusion. I was in college from 01-06, before Loko, and every Friday night, the ambulance was out in the quad by 7pm taking someone to the hospital, who did we blame then? When Jesus turned water to wine, I bet someone got fucked up at that party. Cant blame Four Loko for that. So whats going to happen now? I know...........people are going to continue to get trashed, and probably at a more alarming rate.

College kids are creative. I can guarantee sometime this week there will be a 'RIP Loko' party where people get blasted. Or someone is going to try and make their own home made Loko being that the ingredients are all over the net because they have been criticized the most, even more than the 'drink' itself (that should end well). Or people are just going to drink stronger Red Bull and Vodkas (doubt they would ban thatcombination).

In closing, I want to reiterate that drinking Four Loko isn't the best thing for you, but how do you justify banning a specific type of alcohol but advertising that 'The Most Interesting Man on Earth' drinks this beer, and P Diddy is 'smooth' because he drinks that type of vodka? Hopefully Four Loko gets back on the shelves. I would say I drink anywhere from 5-11 a week along with other things, and I have never blacked out, went to the hospital, nor needed any type of assistance. So friends, lets figure out a way to fight the man and his oppression against our right to drink Four Loko.

99% male porn stars fly under the radar out of the general public's eye for the most part, but that has changed recently with the antics of one Brian Pumper. Me, I have been a true porn enthusiast since 1996, so I know a little more than the average person besides the obvious that goes on in a scene.

Now he's out here exploiting Lawrence Fishburns daughter (who is a piece of shit herself). I will give him props for puling a jack move and releasing the video he made with her before the Vivid could release their version, but other than that I think hes a clown. He's making rap videos where he looks like a complete sambo, not to mention hes thee worst rapper since 50 Tyson (who I think has more talent than him). One video is a diss record to Jay-Z which is a horrible facsimile of a G Unit production. You may think I'm hating on someone trying to get a main stream name for himself, but im not. Im hating on how hes doing it. He took the Blue Print from my hero, Jake Steed and is now trying to pass it off as his own. Jake Steed was the Christopher Columbus of integrating porn and hip hop. First off I would like to acknowledge Earl Boykins fade. Ok, down to business, the NBA is a joke. The product they sell is trash. As you may know, Gilbert Arenas (who is the front runner for 2010's bone head move of the year) played a prank on one of his teammates with unloaded guns and a note. Yes extremely stupid and he deservedly so was suspended. But what has my ass chapped beyond belief is this picture. Is it tasteless that he is doing the imaginary 6 shooter while under investigation by the NBA and law enforcement authorities? Depends on who you ask, I think its funny, its an inside joke with his teammates and as you can see, they are having a good time. The picture doesn't bother me at all, the fact that his teammates are going to be fined for what ever it is that they are doing in this picture that has me dumb founded. There was a time when Rap and R&B ( aka punk bitch soft fuck boy music) was segregated, Rappers Rapped - Singers Complained, and I was happy. If I didn't want to hear that dog shit, I wouldn't put myself in that position. Now I don't have choice pretty much being these two styles of music have converged for mainstream appeal. I remember when rap albums had one or two r&b features and that would get skipped. Those days are over, every hit song whether it being played on the radio or a video has a r&b feature and it turns my stomach. I'm not knocking anyone for using this day as a starting point but I think there's too much hype put into 'THE NEW YEAARRRR'. Don't get me wrong, I fucks with NYE because its a reason to drink and party and have fun, but people ask me, whats your new years resolution going to be and I simply state I don't have one. Then they look at me as if I said I fondle children. I'm a realist, and have been since birth. Dates on calenders don't excite me. I haven't had a birthday party since I was 10, I did wilder shit on a Tuesday in College than I can ever do for my birthday. Basically the point I'm trying to get across is that dates shouldn't influence your life. The fact the its a new year shouldn't put the flame to your ass to make a change. This year the new year falls on a Friday, you could have made your change last Friday. Friday happens every 7 days.. 7 days in a week.. just because Jan 1 will be a new year this Friday, why would you turn your life around on a this particular 'day' (Friday) which happens way more frequently than the 'date' (Jan1)? If you lived your life day to day instead of date to date, you (a)probably wouldn't suck as hard as you do as a person (b) be gearing up for the drastic change that probably wont last to long but then you will be able to say to your self "hey... there's always next year".

Wow, what a battle of some unattractive grenades. A Florida man has been barred from a luxurious country club after allegedly letting hard-core pornography be filmed on the golf course, according to the Miami New Times. Raul Quintana tells the paper that he allowed a "modeling agency" to stage a "photo shoot" at his condo, but the models ended up being from porn web site Bangbros.com.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Cincinnati Bengals receiver Chris Henry has died, one day after suffering serious injuries upon falling out of the back of a pickup truck in what authorities describe as a domestic dispute with his fiancee.

Charlotte-Mecklenburg police said Henry died at 6:36 a.m. today. Henry was 26.
Henry was rushed to the hospital Wednesday after being found on a residential road “apparently suffering life-threatening injuries,” according to police.

Police said a dispute began at a home about a half-mile away, and Henry jumped into the bed of the pickup truck as his fiancee was driving away from the residence.

Police said at some point when she was driving, Henry “came out of the back of the vehicle.” They wouldn’t identify the woman, and no charges were immediately filed.

“Detectives continue to work diligently on this active investigation,” police said in a statement today announcing Henry’s death.

Henry is engaged to Loleini Tonga, and the couple has been raising three children. Tonga’s MySpace page identifies herself as “Mrs. C. Henry” and has a picture of her next to a person who appears to be Henry. She also has a post from Tuesday talking about buying wedding rings. A neighbor said Wednesday that the Tonga family owns the home where police say the incident began. Charlotte is home to his fiancee’s parents.

Henry was away from the team after breaking his left forearm during a win over Baltimore on Nov. 8. He had surgery and was placed on season-ending injured reserve following the game.

When is the world going to hop off of Tigers '9 iron'? Yea, stepped out on his wife a number of times but shit happens. While most of Lil Wayne's fans will have to wait until at least February in the New Year for his often-promised and often-delayed "Rebirth" album, about 500 Amazon customers who pre-ordered the album are enjoying the record already, thanks to a shipping mishap.

According to sources and an e-mail to Billboard from an Amazon customer, the online merchant sent copies of the album to some customers who pre-ordered "Rebirth." The album began arriving in mailboxes on Monday, Dec. 14, despite a change in the street date from Dec. 21 to February 1.

The release date change - the sixth time "Rebirth" was pushed to a new date - was made last month by Universal Motown, the distributing label for Cash Money, and its distributor Universal Music Group Distribution. Universal Motown and UMGD recalled the album, but roughly one million units were manufactured and about one-third were shipped to accounts when the decision was made to pull "Rebirth" from the schedule, sources say.

Although Amazon received the word to return the Lil Wayne album, supposedly about 500 copies were sent to customers. An Amazon spokesman didn't respond to an e-mail request for a comment.

The decision was made because the latest single from the album "On Fire," is still building. Digital scans of the single since its early December release total almost 6,000 units, according to Nielsen SoundScan.
