This shit is beyond repair. There are a lot of factors that contributed to this, but no more influential then R&B. Damn I hate R&B. There was a time when Rap and R&B ( aka punk bitch soft fuck boy music) was segregated, Rappers Rapped - Singers Complained, and I was happy. If I didn't want to hear that dog shit, I wouldn't put myself in that position. Now I don't have choice pretty much being these two styles of music have converged for mainstream appeal. I remember when rap albums had one or two r&b features and that would get skipped. Those days are over, every hit song whether it being played on the radio or a video has a r&b feature and it turns my stomach. Rappers wonder why their albums don't sell and a big reason is real hip hop fans don't want to hear that shit. The only thing keeping hip hop a float are mixtapes and the occasional radio freestyle.
